Ramsey Arts Council Kick-off Meeting

Monster Dash Volunteers Needed

Student Council has a great opportunity to raise money to help fund activities for our Council and PTA. We are looking for students and parents to help volunteer at the Monster Dash 5K race on Saturday, October 29. Please sign up here or email Abbey Janicek to let us know when you can volunteer. You’re welcome (and encouraged) to come dressed in your Halloween best! We are looking for a minimum of 20 volunteers for this fun event.

Give to the Max

Give to the Max day is November 17, 2016! Donations may be scheduled beginning November 1 by following this link: RamseyPTA#GTMD16. Please consider a donation to support the creation of a STEM "Makerspace" at Ramsey, a hub for hands-on, project-based learning, creation and invention. This year, all donors will have the chance to win Ramsey spirit wear. Every donation made will enter you into a raffle to win something to show off your Rhino pride!

Winter Sports Registration Night

If your 7th and 8th graders are considering participating in winter sports at Washburn, this event is for you! Washburn's winter sports registration night is Thursday, November 3, from 6 to 8 pm in the Washburn Main Gym. Meet coaches; get information on practices, tryouts, and schedules; complete paperwork and pay fees. This event is drop-in style—come when it works for you!

6th Grade Volleyball Clinic

Work on your volleyball fundamentals with Washburn HS Volleyball coaches and players. The clinic costs $15, and meets from 4:00 to 5:00 pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Click here for registration information.

Transition to High School

Although ninth grade may seem a long way off, the high school request process is just around the corner! Please visit the MPS High School Request website for more information and timeline. Also, Ramsey's school counselor, Carolyn Cottingham, will be visiting all 8th grade science classes during the beginning of November to share information about the high school choice process.
