My name is Kate Holland. I have been a Minneapolis public school science teacher since 1996.  I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota, my Elementary Education License from St. Thomas University, and my Middle School Science License from Bemidji State. I love teaching science.  I believe the best way to learn is to get your hands dirty and experience things.  My science classes are fun and informative.  I believe that students get a deeper understanding when learning through the arts.  I enjoy integrating theater and visual arts into my science lessons.

I was recently married; we live in St. Louis Park with our puppy, Hopper. I enjoy camping, being outdoors, and going to Twins games. I am originally from Wisconsin, and I am a huge Packer fan.
