Flu Shot Clinic/Vacunación contra la gripe/Xarunta tallaalka hargabka
Wednesday, October 18, 2017 8:55 AM

Wednesday October 18, 9 AM - 12 PM

Justice Page Middle School will be hosting a flu shot clinic in the auditorium for JPS students, families and staff during Parent-Teacher Conferences on Wednesday, October 18 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The Minnesota Visiting Nurses Association will provide flu shots through a partnership with the Kohl’s Care and Children’s Flu Prevention Project. The nasal spray will not be offered this year.

Bring your insurance card if you have one. If you do not have insurance, the flu vaccine will be provided at no cost.

This is a great opportunity to have your whole family immunized before or after conferences. Wear a shirt that allows easy access to your upper arm. It’s all very simple and convenient! Forms will be available at the event, or you can fill out the form ahead of time and bring the completed form on 10/18. Please call the Health Office with any questions, 612.668.4030.

Justice Page Middle School Staff would like to thank several local businesses for their donations to our school. Caribou Coffee, Bruegger’s Bagels and Sun Street Breads, we very much appreciate your community support of JPMS!

A big thank you to our PTA and parents for providing a delicious dinner during conferences last Thursday! It was wonderful to be able to get a quick bite to eat amid all of the hubbub of conferences. And special thanks to Lianne Knych for setting up, organizing all of the donations, and making everything look great!

New Library Books

The Page Media Center is seeking the input of students, parents, and staff as we put together our new book order for this school year.

We will be placing the order by the end of October. We are looking for suggestions for library books for class projects, or for reading for enjoyment. We can order books, ebooks, audiobooks, and books in Spanish. We expect that the new books will arrive in January 2018.

You can use Destiny to see what books we have in our current collection. Please use this form to send in your suggestions.

Please mark your calendars because the 2017 Give to the Max Day is fast approaching! On November 16, 2017, help us celebrate Give to the Max Day by donating to the Justice Page Middle School PTA. Give to the Max Day is an important part of our school’s fundraising efforts and every dollar counts! Every donation, big or small, will provide our school with the opportunity to win a GiveMN Golden Ticket of anywhere between $500 and $10,000. And this year, the GiveMN organization is providing even more Give to the Max day prizes than ever before.

See the GiveMN website to learn more about the organization that makes Give to the Max Day possible.
