Hello, I'm Annie Loch, one of the school social worker for Ramsey Middle School! I am currently working with 6th graders and the students in our developmental cognitive delay program. I also help manage the 504 plans for 6th graders. When meeting with students, I follow a strengths-based approach, believing that students often hold the solutions within themselves. We work together to find those solutions and practice using them in school.
I received my undergraduate degree from Carleton College in Northfield, MN, and my Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Minnesota. I have a history of working as a general education teacher, a special education teacher, and non-profit manager. In my work as at Ramsey, I incorporate music as a way to help students communicate, regulate, relax, grow and learn.
I love working with families and encourage families to contact me anytime @ 612-668-4043.
